Selection Process

  1. Download a form from our website/ write an application letter and address it to the sponsorship officer.
  2. Attach photocopies of previous report cards/pass slips/certificates and other relevant information in support of your application
  3. Hand it to the lindner foundation volunteer in your area or post/ deliver it to our main offices
  4. The screening team shall review applications and carry out independent checks to ensure that all beneficiaries meet the criteria set above before they are forwarded for selection to the Sponsorship Committee.
  5. Shortlisted candidates shall be required to attend interviews in person and or with guardian (s) to determine if he/ she is fit for sponsorship
  6. Successful students will be notified shortly and informed of other pending requirements.
  7. Selected beneficiaries shall be supported  in schools where they are studying at the time of the selection process
  8. The Foundation may however recruit certain persons for sponsorship in cases that may be considered as emergency as the case may be on notification by parents and or the community leaders without following the standard process
  9. The Foundation reserves the right to determine whether the recommended candidate is fit for sponsorship recommendation candidate is fit for sponsorship.


Any case of forgery and/or falsification of documents, malpractices, impersonation and/or giving of false information when discovered during or after the selection process will not be tolerated and will lead to: automatic disqualification from the Sponsorship program and, prosecution in the courts of law of the Republic of Uganda.

The Management of Lindner Foundation Uganda, reserves the right to admit and/or not admit any applicant, based on our assessment of their eligibility. Any form of canvassing is strictly forbidden, and shall lead to disqualification from the selection process.


NB. Lindner Foundation reserves the right to terminate sponsorship for beneficiaries in the following cases

  • Consistent poor performance in school
  • Involvement in any form of bad exam malpractice
  • Beneficiaries involved in double sponsorship
  • Inflation of school dues/fees
