I finished her course in professional tailoring and established a business called De Jenny Enterprise, in Kitgum Town. She runs a shop and at the same time she trains. She has built up a clientele some of whom include, Kitgum Core Primary Teacher’s college, Kitgum hospital, women groups and a few schools, in South Sudan which demand for uniforms.
Her contract portfolio has now risen to Ten million shillings.
She uses this money to execute the orders, pay support staff and generate an income for herself. She is also a qualified educationalist heading the department of tailoring and cutting garments at the ChildCare Technical institute in Kitgum. She recalls vividly a time when the future was bleak.
